All - if you have a shared phone number not directly assigned to an individual - ETS can forward the number for you remotely - just submit an ETS work request. However, if its urgent you may want to come on campus and forward the number yourself. If you definitely want ETS to forward the number please include the shared number you want forwarded and the number to forward to.

Information security training via MyPortal is a great thing to do.

Reach out to students you know via email and check on them. If they need support virtually, go to Virtual Student Hub
Elaine Haight
42:04
Joe: I can’t find the information security training in all the apps on my portal, could you post a link?
Robert Cormia
44:08
That makes sense, will employees be restricted for using offices at some point in Spring?
Joseph Moreau
44:15
Security training is a tile in MyPortal called SANS/ACLP Cybersecurity Awareness. It should be available to all faculty and staff.
Janie Garcia
45:35
Would prospective students be supported through our Equity Department for wifi and computer access as well?
Kevin Metcalf
45:37
If you click on the "Apps" link on the left-hand menu within the portal, the Cybersecurity training should be located under the "Staff" heading.
bretwatson
45:43
Elias is amazing!

Any decisions on upcoming on-campus events (HMS graduation on 5/8, DOTH on 5/2)? or is it on a “wait and see” ?
Robert Cormia
47:26
Dumb question, where do we "meet" on April 7th? A virtual location?
lisaeshman
48:00
Have students been notified?
shaelyn st onge cole
48:18
What happens to labs that can't go online? What does this mean for students that are getting incompletes due to the fact that we can't hold face to face labs?
Kathy Perino
48:22
@Robert, I think that’s still in development
Steve Batham
48:28
Given the message from Judy Miner last night, will faculty be able to return to campus again? I came on Tuesday to collect what I needed for a virtual classroom for 5-6 weeks, but I need additional materials to do this for the entire quarter
Robert Cormia
48:42
I think that answers my question. Many of us are going to be bandwidth limited. What's the plan for that?
Thuy Nguyen
48:44
We will start notifying them today.
Laurie Scolari
48:49
For graduation, we are on hold on if we will have in person or virtual
Kathy Perino
48:55
@Shaelynn, Allied health (including VT) labs are still under discussion
Thuy Nguyen
49:00
To Lisa: We will start notifying students today.
Josh Pelletier
49:02
DOTH is postponed/cancelled. Simon and I will be working on a virtual DOTH.
erinortiz
49:03
In person Commencement Ceremony is on “wait and see” list as of last night. We are assuming it will be an online event and are taking webinars this week to train us (Erin, Daphne and Catalina) on that.
Jordan C Fong
49:05
Yes! So true @kristy
Sarah Williams
49:08
Robert, STEM will meet after this meeting. I think that will help with your concerns.
Kathryn Maurer
49:57
Very emotional right now - this is such an intense time. Hang in there everyone!
erinortiz
50:27
June 26 is Grad. and that seems far away! Yes, very emotional and we are all taking it day by day, breath by breath...
Natalia Menendez
50:48
Yes, there is so much to grieve.I am glad Kristy is saying this out loud. We all need to be honest about how sad this is for us and our students
Lené Whitley-Putz
50:56
So true!! It’s important, too, to recognize that we may be frustrated by technology, and we need each other to get the most from the platforms available. If you are frustrated, reach out!
Jordan C Fong
50:58
yes, reach out to our colleagues and stay engaged with one another during this time!
Kelly Pettit

Confessional: we have eight cats. Foster parent failures in the best possible way.
Elaine Haight
51:26
If we need to get into our offices, we are supposed to contact the campus police first and have your Foothill ID with you. I guess that they don’t want people randomly carrying equipment away.
Lené Whitley-Putz
52:10
The Online Learning team and Professional Development are working together to support you and help you think out of the box. We might know some ways you can use technology to help!
Karen Chow
52:35
Thank you so much for conveying this message and offering this Zoom/Chat for the entire campus
erinortiz
52:35
Thanks Kristy!
Valerie Fong
52:36
Thank you, @Kristy!
Mary Vanatta
52:36
Thank you so much, Kristy! You are awesome :D
ANGELA SU
52:43
I think it is important to acknowledge how difficult it is for our students. Despite giving them links and virtual support, many of our students are still extremely frustrated.
Patricia Gibbs
53:12
Line has loads of ideas about how to humanize your online courses - it’s kind of amazing what you can do in an online course environment these days!
bretwatson
53:14
Yes, Elaine you are correct. If you are coming on to campus please call police first 650.949.7317 and have a campus ID or driver’s license.
Amber La Piana
53:29
Thanks, @Kristy!

Kamara Tramble
53:51
It is ok to come to campus to pick up items?
foxjohn@fhda.edu
54:18
When is the announcement of going fully virtual going to be announced to our students? Or has it already? I'd like to be able to talk to them about it ASAP.
Lynnette Ben-Sushan-Vega
54:32
The “virtual” model will not work for a number of the adaptive learning classes because of the populations that we serve. I’d like to proposed that if our teaching sites do open, we continue to teach as we have. It’s hard to imagine teaching a a “hands on” art or dance class virtually.
Laurie Scolari
55:36
Hi everyone, we’re updating our site regularly and there are some awesome resources to help manage the stress for you all (and students too.) https://foothill.edu/psychservices/covid-19-anxiety.html
bretwatson
56:05
Hi Kamara and All, If you need to come to campus, please let the Police Department know. Their non emergency phone number is 650.949.7317. Please have your Campus ID or a photo idea available.

Vanessa Smith
56:45
@johnfox, we have messaged students about the April 13 start with spring beginning online. We will message today that we are virtual until the end of spring and share virtual campus resources again
Karen Chow
56:52
Than you for the link, Laurie!
Laurie Scolari
57:19
You got it Karen! Please pass the link along
foxjohn@fhda.edu
57:29
@Vanessa thanks. I'll wait until the official message go out.
Sarah Corrao
57:32
@bretwatson do students have to show ID to come onto campus or only faculty and staff?
Scott Olsen
57:38
Thank you for taking the time to present this information via Zoom. It's really great to get information delivered in this way.
Kristy Lisle
57:46
everyone including PHED should prepare for virtual classes all spring quarter. We may be still be in a shelter at home situation.
Debbie Lee
57:56
@JR: yes, PHED classes will also be virtual.
Baba Kofi Weusijana
58:23
Are homeless students able to stay on campus in the parking lot?
Kristin Tripp Caldwell
58:46
I realize this is unfolding but I am wondering if there is any scheduled timeline for this aspect of the chancellor’s message “ we will engage in further dialogue to address exceptions to the expectation that courses will be taught remotely.” Trying to figure out what my parameters are with regard to a scheduled spring course that has an important interactive component

Kristin Tripp Caldwell
01:03:04
It would be wonderful to have the messages sent out to students sent to us as well so we don’t send conflicting information. Maybe even a website that has the specific text of the emails sent to students so we don’t conflict or overload.
