02:58:17
Would you recommend joining the Citizens Climate Lobby?

02:58:40
There has been some worry around rocket fuel emissions and their impact. For the time being, traditional fuel is being used for larger rockets but there has been a transition to electric pumps in smaller rockets.Do you have any information on the impact of rockets or is the focus of green aviation is more on smaller air craft like jets and planes?

02:58:47
Thank you John!

03:01:44
We're on a quick stretch break. Speakers are back at 3:40

03:03:48
Break ends at 3:40. Take a stretch!

03:08:32
@ Michelle Chaires: We have some researchers who have worked on using more environmentally friendly materials such as paraffin for rocket engines. That particular project has ended but I can see if the researcher has more information for you. Green aviation deals mostly with the more commonly used air transportation modes.

03:08:55
I need to unmute for internships

03:09:39
John and I will need to unmute as well

03:09:47

03:40:16
Hello Michelle, my internship was mostly backend. It included everything from data collection to setting up the server.

03:41:08
@Michelle my internship work largely involves both client side (Frontend) development and database / Node JS development

03:43:15

Yes!

03:44:30
If so, where and what did you study?

03:45:40
That’s amazing!!

03:45:42
What is the difference between SEM and TEM?

03:45:45
Congratulations!

03:45:50
Thank you!

03:46:13
Its incredibly infectious and inspiring to see someone so young speak with so much passion about science!!! Keep sharing your energy and passion with the world!!

03:47:35
What other stem clubs are there?

03:48:01
There’s a Data Science club, also a Women in STEM club, anyone else know?

03:48:11
Also, you can always start a club!

03:48:14
I haven't been at Foothill in a few years but if they still have the engineering and 3D printing lab I highly recommend!

03:48:29
engineering club*

03:48:38
Thanks Disha and John! I’ve worked lineside troubleshooting for a system so learning the back end/database systems sounds great! Great presentation Gabrielle!

03:48:56
the science learning institute (SLI) is looking to revive the 3D lab and work on some of these things!!!!

03:49:43
AMAZING DAY!!!

03:49:52
Wonderful job everyone

03:50:58
Thank you to everyone who presented today!

03:51:06
So inspiring. So good to learn today!!

03:51:11
Khushi- The difference between an SEM and TEM is primarily how the image is generated. an SEM makes an image by detecting reflected electrons off the surface of an object aand into the detection frame versus TEM uses a transmitted electron beam to directly form an image that is at a far higher magnitude!

03:51:41
Thanks for organizing this and to the speakers!

03:51:55
It's the beginning of a beautiful friendship…

03:51:55
Okay, Thank you! Science is so fascinating!

03:51:58
couldn’t find Data Science club only the found the Statistics & Ai club / Stem club. If there are links that would be appretiated!

03:52:03
Thank you everyone!

03:52:32
thank you so much!!!
